File Contents: This DOS-based device driver was placed here for the convenience of Internet users. DISCTEC.SYS is a 16-bit real mode which loads in the config.sys to support dynamic removability of DISCTEC RHD drives connected to the internal IDE bus.
Updates to this driver are made on an as needed basis. It is suggested that you download and install the latest version of the software driver before calling Technical Support. Many problems have been resolved by simply updating the driver software.
